12.20.010 Allowed – Proposal contents.

Alternative street name signs may be used in Eagle Mountain City in conformity with the provisions of this chapter. A master developer and/or a major development applicant may act as a sponsor for an alternative street name sign proposal to the city. Each proposal for alternative street name signs shall be received in writing by the city manager together with a graphic depiction of the proposed alternative street name sign, a street plat showing the proposed location of each alternative street name sign, and a description of the proposed materials, colors and installation standards proposed by the alternative street name sign sponsor. 12.20.020 Review of proposals.

Each alternative street name sign proposal shall be reviewed by the planning staff and the city engineer, and a recommendation in writing shall be presented to the planning commission for review and comment and recommendation to the city council. [Ord. 00-04 § 2].

12.20.030 City and other logos.

Alternative street name signs may include the city logo on the sign and a distinctive graphic logo proposed by the alternative street name sign’s sponsor. [Ord. 00-04 § 3].

12.20.040 Maintenance agreement.

Each sponsor of an alternative street name sign shall agree to maintain and replace the sign for the first three years after each sign is installed. [Ord. 00-04 § 4].

12.20.050 City council decision.

The city council shall review all applications for alternative street name signs and shall approve or disapprove the proposal with such additional conditions and requirements as deemed by the city council to be in the public interest. [Ord. 00-04 § 5].
