17.35.010 Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to allow for auto-oriented commercial development catering to regional shopping needs including auto sales or other similar retail services. (Ord. C-675 § 412, 2008)

17.35.020 Areas where permitted.

The Hayford Square overlay abuts Hayford Road to the east, Hayden Street to the west, south of the tribal lands, and north of the Alton BSP. (Ord. C-675 § 413, 2008)

17.35.030 Prohibited uses.

Any use not listed under the permitted uses in the underlying zone or accessory uses is prohibited in an overlay district unless authorized in the zoning matrix. (Ord. C-675 § 414, 2008)

17.35.040 Conditional use criteria.

The following criteria shall be met for conditionally allowed uses in the district:

A. The proposed use shall support the goals, policies and objectives of the Airway Heights Comprehensive Plan.

B. The proposed use shall promote an auto-oriented orientation – uses that provide auto-oriented services and products, with the location and layout of structures allowing for easy vehicular access. (Ord. C-675 § 415, 2008)
