9.02.010 Adoption by reference.

The Washington Model Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 308-330 WAC, hereinafter referred to as the “MTO,” as now or hereafter amended is adopted by reference as and for the traffic ordinance of this county as if set forth in full herein, except as provided in Section 9.02.020. (Res. 97-97 § 1, 7/29/97).

9.02.020 Sections not adopted.

The following sections of Chapter 308-330 WAC are not adopted by reference and are expressly deleted: Sections 210, 215, 235, 240, 245, 250, 255, 275, 500, 505, 510, 515, 520, 525, 530, 535, 540, 600, 610, 620, 630, 640, 650, and 660. (Res. 97-97 § 2, 7/29/97).

9.02.030 Amendments.

The amendment of or addition to any part of the MTO as adopted by reference, by the legislature of the state of Washington, shall be deemed to amend the Chelan County Code or any part thereof as enacted in this Section 9.02.010, and it shall not be necessary for the county commission to take any action with respect to such amendment or addition. (Res. 97-97 § 3, 7/29/97).

9.02.040 Severability.

If any provision of this chapter, or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of the chapter, or the application of the provision to other persons or circumstances is not affected. (Res. 97-97 § 4, 7/29/97).

9.02.050 Disposition of traffic fines and forfeitures.

All fines or forfeitures collected upon conviction or upon the forfeiture of bail of any person charged with a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be paid into the Chelan County current expense fund, and shall be available for general county purposes. (Res. 97-97 § 5, 7/29/97).
