16.28.010 Residential.
Blocks shall not exceed twelve hundred feet in length nor be less than four hundred feet in length. Blocks longer than eight hundred feet in length may be required to have crosswalkways. (Ord. 1161 §1(part), 1984).
16.28.020 Industrial or commercial.
Blocks intended for industrial or commercial use shall be designed specifically for such purpose, with adequate space set aside for off-street parking and loading, and shall meet minimum parking requirements. (Ord. 1161 §1(part), 1984).
16.28.030 Adjacent to arterials.
It is preferred that blocks adjacent to arterial streets be so arranged that the long dimension of the block is parallel to the arterial street and that lots do not front on or have access to the arterial street. Where this arrangement is not feasible, marginal access streets may be required. (Ord. 1161 §1 (part), 1984).
