SENIOR CITIZENS BOARD

2.40.010 Established.

A. A senior citizens board is established with authority to make recommendations to the board of county commissioners in regard to budgets and expenditures in the Columbia County senior citizens fund. Membership on the senior citizens board shall at all times be open to any resident of Columbia County over 60 years of age, who shall attend any meeting of said senior citizens board; legal quorum of at least 10 members shall be required. All other bylaws in regard to meeting dates, officers and procedures shall be the prerogative of the senior citizens board.

B. The board of Columbia County commissioners shall annually select one of its members to act in an advisory role, without vote, in regard to meetings of said senior citizens board. [Res. 76-13.]
