9.20.010 State statutes adopted.

Pursuant to the authority contained in RCW 35.21.180, those portions of the Revised Code of Washington, described as RCW 69.40 entitled, Poisons and Dangerous Drugs, RCW 69.40.110 entitled, Cannabis as “Dangerous” and not “Narcotic” Drug, RCW 69.40.060 entitled, Certain Drugs to be Sold on Prescription or Order- Exceptions, RCW 69.40.061 entitled, Possession of Certain Drugs Unlawful, RCW 69.40.063 entitled, Dangerous Drugs-Defined-Unlawful Practices-Communications Not Privileged, RCW 69.40.064 entitled, Prescriptions, RCW 69.40.080 entitled, Dangerous Drugs-Places Deemed Public Nuisance, RCW 69.40.090 entitled, Dangerous Drugs- Unlawful Practices-Communications Not Privileged, RCW 69.40.100 entitled, Dangerous Drugs-Search and Seizure, and the entire RCW Appendix 69.2, entitled, Glue Sniffing-Violation-Penalty, together with all the amendments and additions thereto hereafter enacted by the state, are adopted by the town, and by this reference incorporated herein, as if set out in full, insofar as they are applicable to, and within the power or jurisdiction of a city of the fourth class, to enforce and regulate. (Ord. 272 § 1, 1970).

9.20.020 Violation—Penalty.

For violation of any provisions of Section 9.20.010, no greater punishment shall be imposed than a fine of three hundred dollars, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety days, or both such fine and imprisonment. In the trial of actions brought for the violation of the foregoing sections of RCW 69.40, and Appendix 69.2, no jury shall be allowed. (Ord. 272 § 2, 1970).
