PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES

6.35.010 Privately owned valves.

Pressure reducing valves are located behind the meter per district standards and are the sole ownership and responsibility of the property owners to maintain. [Res. 2021-11-2; Res. 1998-2-7.]

6.35.020 District-installed pressure reducing valves.

Infrastructure upgrades may require the district to install pressure reducing valves for customers as part of a project. In that event, the customer shall be notified and the district will own the valve for a two-year warranty period and then ownership of and responsibility for the valve will transfer to the property owner.
