D.A.R.E. SPECIAL REVENUE FUND

3.10.010 Fund established.
There shall be established in the budgetary program of the city funds to be characterized as follows:
A. Within the portion of the BARS budgetary pattern relating to the police department a special revenue fund with a line item to be known as the "D.A.R.E. Program." All monies which shall be received from any source whatsoever in relation to operating the D.A.R.E. Program, whether it be a contribution, donation or otherwise, and whether from public or private sources, shall be deposited in such account.
B. There shall be established within the expenditure portion of the police department budget as established under the BARS accounting system an expenditure fund to be known as the "D.A.R.E. Program". No funds shall be distributed from this account without the approval of the council and mayor, such approval to be given either upon a case-by-case basis or pursuant to the normal budgetary programs.
