PARK REGULATIONS

12.18.010 Park hours.
Doolittle Park within the town of Index, at 200 5th Street, shall be closed between the hours of ten p.m. and five a.m. year round.
Activities on park property or in park facilities that exceed normal hours of operation may be authorized in association with a special events checklist applied for through the town of Index.
It is unlawful for any person, other than a police officer or authorized town employee, to enter into or remain within a park at any time between the closing hours designated herein.
A first-time violation of this section will result in a documented warning from the Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies, with a copy of the warning provided to the town of Index. Any subsequent violations will constitute a misdemeanor with a penalty of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00). Deputies will cite and release violators unless the violator refuses to comply, at which time the violator will be subject to custodial arrest. (Ord. 371, 2004).
