10.20.010 Definitions.
As used in this chapter, the terms set forth below shall have the following meanings:
A. "Bicycle lane" means a sidewalk or lane of travel upon a street which has been designated by the city manager or his designee as a combination sidewalk/bike lane pursuant to applicable city ordinance.
B. "Golf cart" means a motorized vehicle having three or more wheels which is capable of carrying passengers and which is designed for use and commonly used as a means of transporting persons while they are engaged in the playing of golf on a golf course.
C. "City manager" means the city manager of the city of Mill Creek or his designee.
10.20.020 Operation prohibited on city street – Exception.
No person shall operate any golf cart upon the streets, alleys, and public ways of the city of Mill Creek; with the exception that golf carts may be operated in designated sidewalk/bike lanes. (Ord. 2006-633 § 2)

10.20.080 City manager authorized to promulgate rules.
The city manager is hereby authorized to promulgate and enforce such rules for the operation of golf carts in designated combination sidewalk/bike lanes as he may deem necessary to ensure the public peace and safety.

Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall have committed a traffic infraction and shall be assessed a monetary penalty not to exceed $250.00.
