Every person who, not being authorized by law, or by an officer authorized by law, has any verbal communication with any prisoner in the custody of a law enforcement officer or brings to or conveys from any person in custody of a law enforcement officer, without the authorization of the officer, any writing, clothing, food, tobacco or any article whatsoever, is guilty of a misdemeanor. It is also unlawful for any person to loiter in or about any city facility for the purpose of engaging in any conduct prohibited in this section. (Ord. 1418 §1(part), 1999).
8.70.020 Bail jumping.
Any person who has been charged with or convicted of a misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor and who has been released by court order issued by the municipal court or admitted to bail with such court order or bail including the requirement of a subsequent personal appearance before such a court, and who knowingly fails to appear as required is guilty of bail jumping, a misdemeanor.
