2.15.010 Established – Appointment.

Pursuant to RCW 35A.13.010 and 35A.13.090 there is established for the city of Newcastle the office of city manager. The city council shall appoint the city manager in accordance with Chapter 35A.13 RCW. (Ord. 15 § 1, 1994).

2.15.020 Duties.

The city manager shall be the chief executive officer and head of the administrative branch of the city. The city manager shall be responsible to the city council for the proper administration of all affairs of the city. The city manager shall have all the powers and shall perform all of the duties specified by Chapter 35A.13 RCW together with any other duties which may be conferred upon the city manager by ordinance or statute.
