2.52.010 Group insurance authorized.

The city shall enter into a contract or contracts with one or more insurance companies authorized to do business in the state to provide health care services for the benefit of its employees, and shall pay all of the costs thereof as an incident of an in-part compensation for such employees’ services to the city. Such costs shall be provided by the city in addition to the compensation to be paid employees as set by the salary ordinance or ordinances of the city. (Ord. 232 § 1, 1970).

2.52.020 City manager authority.

The city manager is authorized to do all things necessary to negotiate, obtain approval and enter into a contract for the purposes mentioned in NPMC 2.52.010, and shall do all things necessary to the continued implementation of this benefit. (Ord. 127 § 2, 1962).
