STATEWIDE PENSION SYSTEM

2.34.010 Participation.
The city of Othello has elected and does elect to participate as a member of the Law Enforcement Officers’ and Firefighters’ Retirement System as provided by RCW Chapter 41.26, and the Washington Public Employees’ Retirement System as provided by RCW Chapter 41,40. (Ord. 759 § 1, 1987: Ord. 330 § 1, 1965).
2.34.020 State law adopted.
The laws of the state of Washington as set forth in the Revised Code of Washington, Chapter 41.26 entitled Law Enforcement Officers’ and Firefighters’ System, and the laws of the state of Washington as set forth in the Revised Code of Washington, Chapter 41.40 entitled Washington Public Employees’ Retirement System, together with all amendments and additions thereto now or hereafter enacted by the state of Washington, are adopted by the city of Othello, and by this reference incorporated herein, as though set out here in full. (Ord. 759 § 3, 1987).
