RECOGNITION OF PROMINENT CIVIC LEADERS

2.41.010 Findings—Purpose.
The city finds that past mayors, councilmembers and other members of the community that are or have been prominent civic leaders should be recognized for their dedication, loyalty and distinguished service to the government and to our community. (Ord. 1494 § 1 (part), 2017).
2.41.020 Authority—Value.
(a) The Othello city council authorizes the city clerk to purchase cards, flowers, or certificates to honor past and current mayors, past and current councilmembers and members of the community that are or have been prominent civic leaders.
(b) The maximum value of an individual recognition shall not exceed one hundred dollars. (Ord. 1494 § 1 (part), 2017).
