POLYGRAPH TESTING

3.84.010 Polygraph fees.
A. Pre-Employment Screening. Except as otherwise provided by interlocal agreement, a fee in the amount of one hundred dollars to be paid in advance is established for pre-employment screening of an individual by the city’s polygraph examiner; provided, however, if the city of Prosser police department incurs overtime expenses due to the services provided by the polygraph examiner, then an additional fee in the amount of the overtime so incurred shall also be assessed and be due and payable thirty days after the date of the invoice for the overtime. This fee shall be paid into the general fund of the city of Prosser.
B. Criminal. Except as otherwise provided by interlocal agreement, a fee in the amount of one hundred dollars plus the hourly overtime rate for each hour worked by the city’s polygraph examiner with a two-hour minimum billing is hereby established for all services of the city’s polygraph examiner in all criminal cases. This fee shall be paid into the general fund of the city of Prosser. (Ord. 2367 § 1, 2002).
