SWIMMING POOLS

15.16.010 Adoption of code.
The 2015 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code published by the International Code Council as amended by the state of Washington is hereby adopted by the city of Prosser with the amendments provided for in this section.
A. The name of the jurisdiction in Section 101.1 shall be the city of Prosser, Washington.
B. Section 105.6.2 is amended to read as follows:
Fee Schedule. The fees for work shall be as provided for in the most recent fee schedule adopted by the City of Prosser.
C. Section 105.6.3 is amended to read as follows:
After a permit is issued under this Code, all fees submitted are nonrefundable.
D. Section 107.4 shall be amended to read as follows:
Violation penalties. Any person who shall violate a provision of this code or shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof or who shall erect, install, alter, or report a pool or spa in violation of the approved construction documents or directive of the code official, or of a permit or certificate issued under the provisions of this code, shall be guilty of a gross misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) or by imprisonment not exceeding three hundred and sixty four (364) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues after due notice has been served shall be deemed a separate offense.
E. The amount regarding stop work orders for each of the brackets in Section 107.5 shall be the amount set forth in the most recent fee schedule adopted by the city of Prosser.
F. The membership of the board of appeals provided for in Section 108.2.1 shall be as provided for in the International Building Code adopted by the city. (Ord. 3105 § 1, 2019; Ord. 1631 § 1, 1993).
