SIDE SEWER CONTRACTORS LICENSE
Sections:
13.52.010 Required.
As a condition precedent to entering into contracts with the property owners in the city for the installation of side sewers connecting with the sewers installed by the city and of soliciting said work, the contractors shall be accepted and licensed in writing as qualified side sewer contractors by the city. (Ord. 699 § 14.01, 1972)
13.52.020 Bond required.
The licensed side sewer contractor shall execute and deliver a dual-obligee surety bond of the amount of one thousand dollars in favor of the city, conditioned that he will perform all side sewer work in conformance with this title. (Ord. 699 § 14.02, 1972)
13.52.030 Fee.
Before being issued a license, a side sewer contractor must comply with the requirements established from time to time by the city council. Upon fulfilling such requirements of the council and delivering the bond required in Section 13.52.020, the contractor will be issued a license by the city upon payment of an annual fee of twenty-five dollars. (Ord. 699 § 14.03, 1972)
13.52.040 Withdrawal.
If the licensed side sewer contractor violates any provisions of this title, his license shall be withdrawn immediately by the city council and it shall only be reissued upon a review of the case by the city council.
This cancellation of license shall not exempt the side sewer contractor from any other penalties provided else where in this title. (Ord. 699 § 14.04, 1972)
