13.68.010 Liability for costs.
Any person who violates any provision of this title shall be liable to the city for any expense, loss, damage, cost of inspection or cost of correction incurred by the city by reason of violation including any cost to the city incurred in collecting from such person said loss, damage, expense, cost of inspection or cost of correction. 13.68.020 Serving of notice.
Any person found to be violating any provision of this title shall be served by the city with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, permanently cease all violations and make all necessary corrections. (Ord. 699 § 18.02, 1972)
13.68.030 Continued violation—Penalty and interest.
Any person who continues any violation beyond the time limit provided for in Section 13.68.020 shall, in addition to the items of expense provided in Section 13.68.010, become liable to the city for a penalty in the amount of ten percent of such expense items, together with interest thereon at eight percent per year from the date of the time limit provided in Section 13.68.020.
