CITY JAIL CONDUCT
Sections:
9.96.010 Conduct prohibited.
The following actions or conduct by persons who are incarcerated in the Toppenish city jail are prohibited:
A. Throwing things, including, but not limited to, food, bedding, clothing, toilet articles, or debris;
B. Refusing to return to a jail cell after being ordered to do so;
C. Smoking;
D. Loud or continuous noises;
E. Any other conduct which obstructs or hinders a law enforcement officer or other police department employee in the regular performance of duty. (Ord. 2006-4 § 1, 2006).
9.96.020 Violation – Penalty.
Each violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be a misdemeanor, punishable as provided by TMC 9.05.070. (Ord. 2006-4 § 1, 2006).
