AMENDMENTS TO UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE

Pursuant to RCW 19.27.031(4) and WAC 51-56-003, Chapters 12 and 15 of the 2003 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code are not adopted and those requirements of the Uniform Plumbing Code relating to vetoing and combustion air of fuel fired appliances as found in Chapter 5 and those portions of the Code addressing building sewers are not adopted nor shall they be part of this title. Pursuant to Chapters 51-56 and 51-57 WAC, various amendments, additions and deletions are made to the 2003 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code. The amendments, additions and deletions contained in Chapters 51-56 and 51-57 WAC are hereby adopted and shall be part of this title. (Ord. 1142(part), 2006)
15.16.020 Chapter 1, Section 102, Organization and enforcement.
Section 102 of the Uniform Plumbing Code, 2003 Edition, as amended by Chapter 51-56 WAC, is hereby amended by the addition of Subsection 102.4.1, Board of appeals, as follows:
102.4.1 Board of appeals. The board of appeals created in Section 112 of the International Building Code as amended in Wapato Municipal Code 15.08.060 shall hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the building official, as the Authority Having Jurisdiction, relative to the application and interpretation of this code. The building official shall be an ex-officio member of said board but shall have no vote on any matter before the board. The board shall follow the rules of procedure for conducting its business set forth in Section 112 of the International Building Code as amended in Wapato Municipal Code 15.08.060, and shall render all decisions and findings in writing to the appellant with a duplicate copy to the building official.

15.16.030 Fees.
Table No. 1-1 Plumbing Permit Fees of the Uniform Plumbing Code, 2003 Edition, is hereby amended as established in Section 15.40.050 of this code.
Except for the schedule of fees as established in Section 15.40.050, Section 103.4 of the Uniform Plumbing Code, 2003 Edition, shall remain in full force and effect. (Ord. 1142(part), 2006)
