EMERGENCY RESPONSE COST RECOVERY

The Laws of the State of Washington Chapter 251 Session Laws of 1993, codified as RCW 38.52.010 and 38.52.430, providing for recovery of emergency response costs from those persons found guilty of, or who have had their prosecution deferred for: (1) driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, RCW 46.61.502; (2) operating an aircraft under the influence of intoxicants or drugs, RCW 47.68.220; (3) use of a vessel while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, RCW 88.12.100; (4) vehicular homicide while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or any drug, RCW 46.61.520(1)(a); or (5) vehicular assault while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or any drug, RCW 46.61.522(1)(b); are adopted by reference by the city of Wenatchee. 1.38.020 Filing.
One copy of Chapter 251 Session Laws of the State of Washington 1993, RCW 38.52.010 and 38.52.430, shall be and remain on file with the city clerk. (Ord. 2000-21 § 2)
1.38.030 Collection of payment.
Collection of emergency response costs from the person or persons responsible for the payment of said costs shall be pursuant to procedures established by the Wenatchee police department and the department of finance. (Ord. 2000-21 § 3)
