15.12.010 Fees for building permits.

15.12.030 Plan-checking fee.

Pursuant to the most recently adopted edition of the International Building Code, plan-checking fees shall be charged for all buildings in occupancy groups A through R-1 inclusive by the checking agency.  (Ord. 452 §8, 2006:  Ord. 299 §4(part), 1995;  Ord. 147-B §1(part), 1984;  Ord. 113-B §4.03, 1981)

15.12.040 Board of appeals.

Pursuant to the most recently adopted edition of the International Building Code, the board of appeals shall consist of five members.  (Ord. 452 §9, 2006:  Ord. 299 §4 (part), 1995;  Ord. 147-B §1(part), 1984;  Ord. 113-B §4.04, 1981)

15.12.050 Parapet, curb window wells or stairways.

In all cases when the floor of a garage or carport is adjacent to the entrance to a basement or window well, the basement entrance or window well shall be protected by a raised concrete curb four inches high surrounding basement stairway, elevator or window well opening; except, that in residential construction, the floor of the garage or carport adjacent to the entrance or other opening to the residence shall slope away from such opening.  (Ord. 113-B §4.05, 1981)

15.12.060 Frost depth.

Pursuant to the most recently adopted edition of the International Building Code, frost depth shall be a minimum of thirty-six inches below finished grade.  Where greater depth is indicated by a foundation investigation, or by conditions where ground will be uncovered or compacted, such greater depth shall be used.  (Ord. 452 §10, 2006:  Ord. 299 §4(part), 1995;  Ord. 147-B §1(part), 1984;  Ord. 113-B §4.07, 1981)

15.12.070 Snow loads.

Pursuant to the most recently adopted edition of the International Building Code, a basic minimum snow load for this area is established at thirty pounds per square foot except as otherwise provided for within this title.  Snow loads shall be determined by the building official in all cases where the minimum figure established hereby appears inadequate.

Snow loads for agricultural buildings shall conform to the thirty pounds per square foot minimum as set forth herein, except that the roof loading factor used in such calculations may be reduced to 0.60 instead of the 0.80 factor used for other buildings.  (Ord. 452 §11, 2006:  Ord. 299 §4(part), 1995;  Ord. 147-B §1(part), 1984;  Ord. 113-B §4.08, 1981)

15.12.080 Concrete reinforcement.
