MODIFICATIONS TO UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE

15.16.030 Board of appeals.

Pursuant to the most recently adopted edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code, the board of appeals established herein shall consist of five members appointed by the town council.  The building official shall be an ex-officio member of the board and shall act as its secretary.  The board shall adopt reasonable rules and regulations for conducting its investigations and shall render all decisions in writing.  (Ord. 452 §13, 2006:  Ord. 113-B §6.03, 1981)

15.16.040 Fees.

Pursuant to the most recently adopted edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code, the fee schedule set forth therein is adopted under authority of this chapter except that where the fee calculation results in a figure ending in a fraction of a dollar such figures shall be rounded down to the next lowest whole dollar.  (Ord. 452 §14, 2006:  Ord. 113-B §6.04, 1981)

15.16.050 Inspector disconnection authority.

When the building official or his authorized designee finds that any piping, fixture or appliance is defective or in such condition as to endanger life or property he may order such piping fixture or appliance disconnected.  In all cases where such a disconnection is ordered to be made, a notice shall be affixed thereto which shall state the reason for such disconnection and that it is unlawful for any person to remove such notice or to reconnect such piping, fixture or appliance until authorized to do so by the building official.  (Ord. 113-B §6.05, 1981)
