1.81.010 Laws of state to govern—Exceptions—Clerk to sign notice.

General and special elections shall be governed and conducted by and in accordance with the general election laws of the state of Washington as the same are applicable to cities of the first class, except as to those matters specifically provided for in the City Charter; provided, however, that all notices required to be posted and/or published shall contain, in addition to the signatures provided for in said laws, the signature of the city clerk. (Ord. B-79 § 1, 1934).

1.81.020 Special elections—Authority.

Special elections may be authorized and held for all purposes provided by the City Charter, ordinances of the city, laws applying to cities of the first class and general laws of the state, and shall include all elections other than general or primary. (Ord. B-79 § 3, 1934).
