CABLE TV COMMUNICATIONS FUND

3.05.010 Fund created—Purpose.
There is created a special fund to be known as the cable TV communications fund. The purpose of such fund is to pay expenses incurred by the city in administering cable TV franchises for cable TV operators doing business in the city. (Ord. 2510 § 1 (part), 1981).
3.05.020 Source of funds.
The source of funds for the cable TV communications fund will be franchise fees paid to the city by cable TV operators, and other revenue from such other sources as may be designated from time to time by the Yakima city council. (Ord. 2510 § 1 (part), 1981).
3.05.030 Expenditures from fund.
Expenditures from the cable TV communications fund shall be made only for the purposes specified in Section 3.05.010 of this chapter. No expenditure shall be made from such fund unless the Yakima city council approves such expenditure by passing an ordinance appropriating money within the fund for the purpose for which the expenditure is to be made, or by including an appropriation for such purpose in the budget.
