CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND

3.17.010 Fund created—Purposes.

There is created a special fund to be known as the central business district capital improvement fund. The money in the fund shall be used to pay costs of improvements of the central business district of the city of Yakima as authorized by the city council from time to time. (Ord. 1599 § 1 (part), 1973).

3.17.020 Source of funds.

Money to be deposited in such fund shall be derived from parking meter revenue from the cumulative reserve fund for capital improvements, from allocations and transfers of money to such fund made by the city council, and from such other sources as may be designated from time to time by the Yakima city council. (Ord. 1599 § 1 (part), 1973).

3.17.030 Expenditures.

Expenditures from the central business district capital improvement fund shall be made only for the purposes specified in Section 3.17.010 of this chapter. No expenditure shall be made from such fund unless the Yakima city council shall approve such expenditure by passing an ordinance appropriating money within the fund for the purpose for which the expenditure is to be made, or by including an appropriation for such purpose in the budget.
