UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION RESERVE FUND

3.91.010 Fund created—Purposes.

There is created a special fund to be known as the unemployment compensation reserve fund. The money in said fund shall be used only to pay the Washington State Employment Security Department billings to the city for benefits paid to prior city employees as required by state law and to pay fees of the Unemployment Service Agency. (Ord. 2186 § 1 (part), 1978).

3.91.020 Source of funds.

Money shall be deposited in the unemployment compensation reserve fund in accordance with ordinances appropriating money therefor as may be passed by the city council from time to time, or as may be included in the budget, and interest earned from the investment of temporary idle money in the fund shall also be deposited therein. (Ord. 2186 § 1 (part), 1978).

3.91.030 Expenditures.

Expenditures from the unemployment compensation reserve fund shall be made only for the purpose specified in Section 3.91.010 above. No expenditure shall be made from the fund unless money has been transferred into the fund and billings from the Washington State Employment Security Department have been approved for payment by the service agency appointed to audit said billings.
