SPECIAL LOCAL PUBLIC WORKS 1977 FUND

3.99.010 Fund created—Purposes.

There is created a special fund to be known as the special local public works 1977 fund. The money in the fund shall be used to finance projects as approved by the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, for expenditures of such money. (Ord. 2097 § 1 (part), 1977).

3.99.020 Sources of funds.

Money to be deposited in the special local public works 1977 fund shall include the proceeds from grants to the city from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, for public works projects, along with allocations and transfers from such other available sources as may be authorized from time to time by the city council. (Ord. 2097 § 1 (part), 1977).

3.99.030 Expenditures.

Expenditures from the special local public works 1977 fund shall be made only for the purposes specified in Section 3.99.010 of this chapter. No expenditure shall be made from the fund unless the Yakima city council shall approve such expenditure by enacting an ordinance appropriating money within the fund for the purpose for which the expenditure is to be made, or by including an appropriation for such purpose in the budget.
