HOTEL/MOTEL TAX FUND

3.84.010 Fund created.
There is created within the city budget a fund to be known as the hotel/motel tax fund (fund No. 107) for the purpose of receipting of moneys received through the hotel/motel tax. (Ord. 479 § 1, 1993).
3.84.020 Purpose.
This tax may be levied only for the purpose of paying all or any part of the cost of acquisition, construction, or operating of stadium facilities, convention center facilities, performing arts center facilities and/or visual art center or museum facilities or to pay for advertising, publicizing, or otherwise distributing information for the purpose of attracting visitors and encouraging tourist expansion or for other approved state statute uses.
