10.04.020 State speed limits adopted.

The provisions of Sections 346.57, 346.58 and 346.59, Wisconsin Statutes, relating to the maximum and minimum speed of vehicles are adopted as part of this section as if fully set forth herein. (Prior code § 7.02)

10.04.030 Vehicle equipment and safety standards.

A.    Adoption of Administrative Regulation. The city of Brookfield adopts Chapter Trans 305 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code, and all subsequent amendments thereto defining and describing motor vehicle equipment standards for which the penalty for violation thereof is a forfeiture only, including penalties to be imposed.

B.    Penalty. Upon conviction of a violation of any section of Chapter Trans 305 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code, the court shall enter a judgment of forfeitures provided by the Wisconsin Revised Uniform State Traffic Deposit Schedule for violation of such sections. The court may also impose a penalty assessment, jail assessment, and court costs. (Ord. 2027-05 § 1, 2005)

10.04.040 Annual State Highway Maintenance Manual composite rates adopted.

The annual composite rates issued by the Director of the Wisconsin Bureau of Highway Operations are adopted for purposes of equipment rate billing, as attached in “Exhibit A.”* (Ord. 2088-06 § 1, 2006)
