9.08.010 Certain gaming activities prohibited.

This chapter is enacted to prohibit those forms of gaming, specifically draw poker and lo ball poker, which are not now regulated or prohibited by state law. (Ord. 357 § 1, 1976)

9.08.020 Territorial application.

This chapter shall apply within the unincorporated area of the county. (Ord. 357 § 2, 1976)

9.08.030 Unlawful acts designated—Violation—Penalty.

Every person who deals, plays or carries on, opens or causes to be opened, or who conducts, either as owner or employee, whether for hire or not, any game of draw poker or lo ball poker, and every person who plays either of such games, for a consideration, is guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punishable by a fine not less than one hundred dollars nor more than five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the County Jail not exceeding ten days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
