SNOWMOBILE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The board of county commissioners creates the Chelan County snowmobile advisory committee for the purpose of advising the board on any matter pertaining to the sport of snowmobiling within Chelan County. (Res. 80-17 (part), 2/11/80).
1.114.020 Organization.
The committee will be organized as follows:
(1) The committee shall consist of five members, one from each county commissioner’s district and two from the county at-large.
(2) The committee shall be appointed by the board of county commissioners and its members shall serve three-year terms when appointed from a commissioner district and one-year terms when appointed from the county at-large. To ensure continuity within the committee in the future, initial appointments to the commissioner district positions shall be for the terms indicated:
District 1—1 year;
District 2—2 years;
District 3—3 years.
(3) A minimum of two members of the committee shall be representatives of formally organized snowmobile clubs or associations. (Res. 80-17 (part), 2/11/80).
