2.02.010 Model code.

The Political Reform Act of 1974, Cal. Gov’t Code § 81000, et seq., requires state and local government agencies to adopt and promulgate conflict of interest codes. The Fair Political Practices Commission has adopted a model conflict of interest code, Cal. Code Regs. Title 2, § 18730. The model code may be incorporated by reference and may be amended by the Fair Political Practices Commission after public notice and hearings to conform to amendments in the Political Reform Act of 1974. 2.02.020 Adoption.

The provisions of Cal. Code Regs. Title 2, § 18730, as amended by the Fair Political Practices Commission from time to time, together with Appendix “A” and Appendix “B” designating employees and disclosure categories respectively, on file in the office of the City Clerk and periodically updated by resolution of the City Council, shall constitute the Conflict of Interest Code of the City and for each agency for which the City serves as the code reviewing body.
