8.60.010 Alcohol on town property prohibited.

No alcohol shall be permitted on any property or in any facilities owned by the town except as specifically provided in WMC 8.60.020. The town reserves the right to remove anyone consuming alcohol on property or in facilities owned by the town from that property and/or facility and to restrict that person from using town property in the future. 8.60.020 Exceptions.

Alcohol may only be permitted to be brought onto and consumed at or on any town property or facility (A) with the express written permission of the town council, or (B) during a town-sponsored event with the written approval of either the town manager or parks director. [Res. 2018-40 § 2]

8.60.030 Procedures and policies.

The town manager shall adopt procedures and policies, establish rules, and take other measures reasonably necessary to effectuate this chapter. Such policies shall include requiring all applicable permits and maintaining appropriate levels of insurance. [Res. 2018-40 § 3]

8.60.040 Amendment – Severability.

Nothing herein shall limit the right of the town council to amend the alcohol policy or the town manager’s procedures and/or measures to effectuate this chapter. The terms, paragraphs, sentences, and words of this chapter are separable, and if a court or other authority of competent jurisdiction hereof declares any portion unconstitutional, invalid, or unenforceable for any reason, such declaration shall not affect the remaining portions.
