B-4 EXPANDED BUSINESS DISTRICT
Sections:
17.23.010 Intent.
The intent of this district is to provide expansion of the community’s business, service, and cultural activities. Uses within this district should be appropriate to such a focal center with inappropriate uses being excluded. The expansion on this central business district should happen in a planned logical manner. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)
17.23.020 Permitted uses.
The uses permitted in the B4 district are as follows:
1. Amusement centers, (indoor only);
2. Bakeries;
3. Bars, cocktail lounges, and casinos;
4. Barber shops;
5. Conditional uses in accordance with Section 17.32.050;
6. Dressmaking;
7. Financial institutions;
8. Florist;
9. Hotels and motels;
10. Laundry and dry cleaning;
11. Meeting and lodge halls;
12. Mortuary;
13. Museums, libraries and galleries;
14. Nursery;
15. Parking lots;
16. Printing offices;
17. Private schools, such as dance, business, secretarial and technical but not private or public elementary or secondary schools;
18. Professional and business offices (for Personal services);
19. Public offices;
20. Repair services for clothes, dolls, small appliances, watches, glasses, and such other items;
21. Restaurants and cafes;
22. Retail sales such as:
a. Clothing;
b. Candy;
c. Furniture;
d. Hardware;
e. Jewelry;
f. Drug stores;
g. Grocery stores;
h. Post office (but excluding heavy machinery)
23. Service stations;
24. Signs;
25. Temporary buildings for and during construction only;
26. Theaters, except drive-ins;
27. Uses customarily accessory to those listed;
28. Wholesale establishments;
29. Rental of automobiles, bicycles, motorcycles, snowmobiles and other vehicles. (Ord. 173 §2, 1995; Ord. 147 (part), 1992)
17.23.020 Lot area and width.
No minimum lot area or width prescribed. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)
17.23.040 Coverage.
Buildings may cover entire lot providing other requirements are met. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)
17.23.050 Yards.
None. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)
17.23.060 Building height.
Maximum building height in this district shall be thirty-five feet. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)
17.23.070 Off-street parking.
Off-street parking shall be provided in accordance with Chapter 17.42. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)
17.23.080 Off-street loading.
Off street loading shall be provided in accordance with Chapter 17.44. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)
