HAZARDOUS STREETS

10.10.030 Violation – Penalty.
10.10.010 Designated.
The following described dead-end streets shall be designated hazardous:
(1) Howe Street: commencing at the intersection of U.S. Highway 97A and continuing east to a dead-end.
(2) King Street: commencing at the intersection of Howe Street and continuing north to a dead-end.
(3) Vradenburg Street: commencing at the intersection of Howe Street and continuing south to a dead-end. (Ord. 645 § 1, 2006; Ord. 188 § 1, 1976)
10.10.020 Sign placement.
A 15 miles-per-hour speed limit sign shall be posted as follows:
(1) Fifty feet west of the center of the King Street and Howe Street intersection on the south side of Howe Street;
(2) King Street;
(3) Vradenburg Street. (Ord. 645 § 1, 2006; Ord. 188 § 2, 1976)
10.10.030 Violation – Penalty.
Any person operating any vehicle on the portions of streets designated as hazardous under EMC 10.10.010 over the speed limit shall be guilty of an infraction and punished by a fine pursuant to the monetary penalty schedule provided for in Infraction Rules for Courts of Limited Jurisdiction (IRLJ) Rule 6.2(d).
