12.05.010 Use of right-of-way.

It shall be unlawful for any person to store, sell or display any vehicle, equipment, sign or other object within the public right-of-way, except display of public notice. (Ord. 1860 § 1. Code 1990 § 12-301)

12.05.020 Responsibility of costs.

Upon written notification, all items displayed or stored in the public right-of-way shall be removed by the property owner within 72 hours. If items displayed or stored are not removed, the City may contract to have them removed. Any costs incurred by the City, such as, but not limited to, removal of vehicles, equipment, signs or other objects from the right-of-way, shall be the responsibility of the property owner. 12.05.030 Penalty.

A person violating any provision of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $500.00 or imprisonment in jail for not more than six months or be both so fined and imprisoned. (Ord. 1860 § 1. Code 1990 § 12-303)
